Julie Chen Moonves, who was one of the initial hosts and moderators on The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award winner talk show) She returned on to host The Talk on August 5th for its 22nd episode. Then it was when she started writing that her real passion was revealed. She also won an Emmy for hosting an excellent entertainment talk show. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 and 2010. Her previous roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. The anchor was escorted to Cairo following the 9/11 attacks and gave an intense and thrilling interview with the father of the primary hijacker. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news programme, profiling celebrities like Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton located in Dayton, Dayton, Ohio (1995-1997). In her final year of college, she was an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). Her first broadcasting job was as a desk assistant to ABC News' late-night broadcast Nightline along with Ted Koppel, who remains one of her journalism heros. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker for Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that looked at how the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
